Restore Health and Wellness Workshop
Men and woman interested in getting out, and investing in their Health & Wellness? Restore hosts a workshop in their beautiful studio space above Jonny Bean Coffee, 418 13St N.
This workshop will give you the knowledge, tools, and practical steps to walk out in your health journey. You’ll hear from expert speakers in the health and wellness industry talking about anxiety and mental health, gut health, the importance of morning rituals, nutrition and how it affects your lifestyle, and the epidemic of insomnia and how to curb sleeping disorders.

Our neighbours Jonny Bean Coffee will be catering the workshop. A scrumptious organic glory bowl will be served for lunch, as well as tea and coffee provided with gluten free snacks throughout the day.

Speakers
Leanna Santangelo is a Registered Provisional Psychologist who specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, compassion fatigue & burnout. Leanna’s involvement in developing athletes through Performance Enhancement works hand-in-hand with how she guides individuals to move from depressed and burnt out, to taking control of and living their best life. Leanna’s enthusiastic energy for the work she does will make for an informative, interactive and jam-packed experience, as she shares strategies to befriend your anxiety, bring awareness to your concerns and how this impacts taking care of self.
Erin is a wife and mother with two young daughters and an active family life. They are "weekend warriors" who can be found at the ski hill in the winter and at the lake in the summer, enjoying all that nature has to offer. Her passions include music, fitness, and most importantly, Morning Routines. Erin is also a teacher and has been teaching for over 16 years. She earned a B. Ed and a B. A from the University of Lethbridge in 2005, which got her started on her career in education. In 2018, she went back to the university for graduate school, earning her Master of Education degree in 2020.
Erin's passion for morning routines was born of her own need to take control of her life while in the midst of working full time, doing her master's degree, and continuing in the roles of mom and wife. She realized that by putting herself last, the people around her were getting her at her worst. The changes she implemented have been so transformative for her that she has coached others in adopting similar routines, teaching them to structure their mornings for maximum benefits to promote wellness, achieve goals, and increase productivity.
Lana Walsh is a Sleep Coach who helps people overcome insomnia, so they wake up feeling rested and refreshed. After a decade of dealing with undiagnosed restless leg syndrome (RLS), Lana developed chronic insomnia.
For 30 years, she struggled to find the answer to her sleep, trying “literally everything” without relief. When Lana was introduced to the stress-busting process of emotional freedom techniques (EFT, a.k.a. tapping), she started sleeping better. Determined to continue this path, she began researching sleep where she finally found the answer to curing her insomnia. She is passionate about sharing the secrets to overcoming insomnia and helping people get the same results that have transformed her life.
Lana is a co-author of the Amazon Bestseller, "Creating Impact, The Ultimate Guide for Purpose-Driven Entrepreneurs," founder of "Upgrade Your Sleep: A Powerful Method to Overcoming Sleeplessness," registered CBTi coach, and Conscious EFT Level 1-2 practitioner.
Topic description: Upgrade Your Sleep: From Sleep Deprived Sufferer to Rested Achiever. During this session you will learn why sleep is important, the number one reason people have trouble sleeping and strategies to overcome it; what insomnia is and what can trigger it, and how to structure your day to get the most out of it.
Aimee is the owner of Restore Wellness Centre and is also a 200hr certified yoga practitioner with Yoga Alliance and holds a Certificate of Specialization in Brain Longevity Certification. Before she founded Restore Wellness Centre, she had a yoga business Restore Yoga Co that started in the early fall of 2019. Her class facilitates the refreshing of the soul in a gentle yoga flow or a relaxing Hatha class. You will find postures for every level, explore your body’s needs and uniqueness, and feel yourself falling in love with the yoga practice all over again.
Aimee is passionate about creating a peaceful space where everyone can come and feel at home, safe, loved, and cared for. She values warmth and community and loves that there is a place locally where she can pour into and build something beautiful.
Gina Primavera is a Nutritionist + Herbalist + Reflexologist + Fitness Instructor + Lover of Healthy Poops = Poop Coach! I am a believer healthy poops equal joyous people and joyous people equal a better world. When your digestive system is working and you're properly fueling your body with the good stuff everything falls into place. Weight issues disappear, motivation is high, energy is abundant, bloating and body discomfort disappears, brain fog becomes clear, dis-ease can't thrive, joy comes with ease, sleep becomes deep and SO MUCH MORE! I am excited to be talking all things poop and how you can change your life by healing your guts. I will be sharing simple, scrumptious and cheap ideas on how to restore your gut health.
Candice is an ISSA certified personal trainer and also has nutrition certifications from Precision Nutrition and Working Against Gravity. For 16 years she was an elementary school vice-principal but left in 2019 to pursue her passion which is coaching women with their fitness, nutrition and mindset. Based in Alberta, Canada, she is a mom of two and appreciates how busy life can get for moms. Her goal is to help simplify fitness and eating for women and allow them to see how they can still eat foods they love and get great results!
